Bottega Veneta To Unveil New Headquarters In Lieu of Runway Show This Season
The Italian luxury house will ring in Milan Fashion Week by unveiling its new space while it prepares for Louise Trotter’s debut.

As many luxury brands forge ahead with or without a creative director this Fall/Winter 2025 season, Bottega Veneta has opted to take a pause instead. Louise Trotter, who was formerly at Carven, joined the brand as creative director in January, immediately following Matthieu Blazy’s departure for Chanel. In lieu of a traditional runway show during Milan Fashion Week, Bottega Veneta will be celebrating the opening of its new Milan headquarters with a store event this weekend.
The new headquarters will open in the historic former Manzoni Theater on Piazza San Fedele, mere steps from the Duomo. Originally built in 1870 and restored by Bottega Veneta with the help of Belgian Architectural firm Office Kersten Geers David Van Severen, the building is also the site of Blazy’s first runway show for the brand back in 2022. Though Trotter’s debut will not take place in the newly revamped space, three of the seven floors have been transformed into an expansive showroom and cultural experience.
Saturday’s event will also include a performance by Patti Smith as part of the globally touring project Correspondences by experimental Berlin and New York-based music group, Soundwalk Collective. According to WWD, Smith will debut a piece in tribute to Italian architect Carlo Mollino and his famed Casa Mollino in Turin.
While no word has been released regarding Louise Trotter’s official debut date, you can check back here for updates as they come. In the meantime, stay tuned to Hyebeast for all things Milan Fashion Week.
