Californian brand ERL is releasing its first shoe. Taking to Instagram to reveal the upcoming drop, the skate-centric shoe appears in three colorways — cream, brown suede and black suede.

The completely new silhouette features a dramatized upper that sees an exaggerated and almost cartoon-like shape. Sitting atop semi-translucent rubber outsoles, the shoes all seemed to also feature a sherpa lining for added comfort and padding. The ERL branding is placed at the top of the tongue for added detailing. The brand has always paid homage to its Venice, California roots, and continues to do so through the skate-centric motifs throughout the shoe that is set to release later today.

The promotion images for the official shoe drop sees the ERL shoe take on a skate aesthetic. Skaters wearing the ERL shoe are filmed on their boards and ramps doing tricks, a nod to Venice’s skate community in California. Take a look at the official teasers below. The upcoming ERL shoe arrives online today at 11 a.m. EST.
