adidas Torsion TRDC Tunes up for Summer
With a happily-monikered “Bliss” colorway.
A street-ready shoe with heavy trail sensibilities, adidas Originals‘ Torsion TRDC merges two worlds in artful fashion, and now it’s released in a happily-monikered “Bliss” makeup. Blending summertime tones with bright, sporty accents and a rugged build, the “Bliss” is a modern-day urban trekker that’s also up for a weekend hike.
The top half serves up a compellingly cacophonous construction, using meshes, suedes, leathers and synthetics on its multitude of panels and twisting overlays. Toeboxes are mainly white and tan, with the midfoot adding black and yellow into the mix and heels bringing everything together. Small punches of blue appear on the anchored fabric Three Stripes graphic, collar and throat, the last of which is made from a textured neoprene.
Flecked rope laces tie everything together, while on the lower half beefy tan midsoles are constructed from adiPRENE foam and added support arrives via a blue Torsion shank. Finally, toothed Traxion outsoles are crafted to grip slippery sidewalks or uneven terrain with equal aptitude.
The adidas Torsion TRDC “Bliss” is available now via the adidas webstore. The MSRP is set at $130 USD.
