Conichiwa Bonjour Reinterprets Famous Logos in Playful SS20 Collection
Featuring graphic T-shirts, collegiate sweatshirts & more.
Korean label Conichiwa Bonjour is reinterpreting classic, street-casual pieces for its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. Parodying popular culture, Conichiwa Bonjour combines American Ivy League prep with global brand mash-ups, producing graphic staple pieces and accessories that play off recognizable brand logos.
Key pieces from the SS20 range highlight Japanese katakana lettering, like a bold red New York State crewneck and deep blue Los Angeles State sweatshirt boasting collegiate lettering and a soft fleece textured lining. A long sleeved T-shirt features a front and back printed graphic parodying a 1987 album from the English rock band New Order, while a purple “Ciao Bonjour” tee is a tongue and cheek play on Coca-Cola’s logo. Rounding out the collection are cotton twill “Cobo” caps and a white tote bag referencing Evian’s logo.
Ranging from £30 to £110 (approx. $35 to $130 USD), Conichiwa Bonjour’s Spring/Summer 2020 looks are available now on Couverture & The Garbstore’s webstore.
