Spotted sitting alongside a pair of unreleased Virgil Abloh Archive x Nike Air Force 1s, the updated silhouette keeps the clean upper and low-profile construction of its original Converse predecessor. The design arrives in a vibrant all-orange finish with matching tonal laces, with the primary structural update appearing as a Nike logo stamped onto the heel.
Rather than completely redesigning his footwear line immediately, Nike appears to be preserving the established Shai 001 silhouette. Gilgeous-Alexander is expected to wear the updated model to open the upcoming NBA season prior to the debut of the SHAI 002 in 2027.
