The Nike Mind 001 Women’s Pregame Mules are back in a new “Tarp Green” colorway for Fall 2026. The backless slip-on keeps the line’s sensory technology and its warm-up-focused purpose, this time wrapping the design in a muted, army-green palette that pushes it toward neutral, everyday territory.
The centerpiece is the same mechanism that anchors the rest of the Mind range. Developed in Nike‘s Mind Science Department, the footbed holds 22 nodes that press against different areas of the foot as the wearer moves, a system Nike says engages the sensory areas of the brain. That underfoot setup gives the mule a feel distinct from an ordinary slide, and Nike frames it around the pregame window, positioning the shoe as part of a mental warm-up rather than performance gear.
The construction supports extended standing-around comfort. A soft foam midsole handles cushioning, and a stretchy fabric layer sits over the nodes to let them travel while staying soft underfoot. The upper is a molded one-piece build with a knit, perforated tongue area for breathability, and rubber pods at the toe and heel add durable traction to the easy-on, easy-off silhouette. Nike advises anyone who usually buys a half size to size up.
The “Tarp Green” execution keeps the color blocking simple. Army green covers most of the one-piece upper, with a slightly lighter shade across the tongue, while light tan nodes underneath supply the main contrast. The Swooshes on the top and sides arrive in glossy metallic black rather than the silver branding used on some earlier Mind 001 pairs, keeping this version focused on the existing design instead of adding louder accents.
