Kith Just Dropped a Custom Fender Guitar
Under the Kith Records umbrella, the duo has presented a $1,600 USD Limited Player Stratocaster.
Kith has always leaned into its music roots – after all, the Ronnie Fieg-founded New York City imprint couldn’t be true to its home city without harkening back to its undying sonic stronghold. While the label has, for a long time, lifted creative inspiration from the music scene, more recently, Kith has fired up its Kith Records creative arm, which is its direct tie to the current music zeitgeist.
Today, by way of the Kith Records umbrella, Kith revealed the latest byproduct of its partnership with Fender, which takes the form of a reenvisioning of one of the guitar manufacturer’s most coveted models: a custom, limited-edition Kith Records x Fender Player II Stratocaster.
Running for a quick $1,600 USD, the collaborative guitar lands as a commemorative offering for 2026, dropping in celebration of Kith’s 15th anniversary and Fender’s 80th anniversary. Fender’s craftsmanship and technical affinity meet’s Kith’s attention to design detail throughout the sleek silhouette.
Dipped in Kith’s classic “Stadium” hue lifted from the staple Kith color Palette, complete with a contoured Alder Kith Monogram base, and Kith’s typical branding reimagined to be stylized in Fender’s signature typography.
A Modern “C”-profile neck is defined by a silky satin urethane finish on the backside, complemented by a fretboard crafted fully from a 9.5”radius slab rosewood and finished off with rolled edges, 22 medium jumbo frets, and a custom printed pickguard. Fellow Fender features find their way into the design in the form of the Player Series Alnico V Single-Coil Strat® pickups, a 5-way blade switch, a 2-point tremolo, and ClassicGear™ tuners.
Kith branding dials down to the details, even landing on both the co-branded strap and atop a lineup of guitar picks.
Expect the Kith Records for Fender Limited Player Stratocaster to drop for purchase on Friday, May 1st, at 11 a.m. EST. Production and delivery can take up to approximately 13 weeks.
