The lines between contemporary utilitarian and pitch-ready sportswear are officially blurring. For their very first collaboration, Carhartt WIP and Tokyo-based label F.C. Real Bristol have unveiled a comprehensive new capsule collection. Building on a shared affinity for functional design and cultural storytelling, the debut range spans sportswear-inspired apparel, accessories, and distinct football memorabilia centered around F.C.Real Bristol’s legendary concept of a fictional football club.

Founded in 1999 under the Japanese clothing brand SOPH., F.C.Real Bristol pioneered the largely unexplored space of football apparel as everyday wear. For this new venture, the label’s performance-driven shapes and moisture-wicking weaves act as the foundation. Carhartt WIP elevates the collection by rendering the garments in its core heritage shades—Dusty Hamilton Brown, wax, navy, and black—finished with striking co-branded jacquard webbing. Standout apparel pieces include thick interlock varsity jackets, lightweight nylon satin warm-up jackets, and highly breathable game shirts and shorts.

Beyond the core apparel, the collaboration leans heavily into the culture of the sport. Fans can expect a knitted supporter scarf, branded socks, and a canvas cap, alongside unique memorabilia like a custom collaborative football and a brown rubber duck. The release is accompanied by a surreal, abstract campaign shot by Theodor Guelat, which distills the game of football into its purest elements of emotion, ritual, and shared passion.

To mark the global launch, F.C.Real Bristol and Carhartt WIP are taking the collaboration to the streets. The brands will host a series of table football tournaments spanning Amsterdam, Barcelona, Kuala Lumpur, London, Milan, NYC, Paris, Seoul, Tokyo, and Toronto.

The F.C.Real Bristol x Carhartt WIP collection officially launches on April 10 via select global retailers, Carhartt WIP stores, and the brand’s official website.
