Summary
- Dickies and Japanese brand semoh have joined forces for an exclusive Urban Research capsule collection
- The release centers around a modernized Eisenhower Jacket and slightly flared five-pocket pants
- New York-based photographer Tim Barber shot the campaign and contributed artwork from his archive for the apparel
Dickies and Japanese label semoh have teamed up for a special URBAN RESEARCH capsule collection featuring the Eisenhower Jacket and DS Five Pocket Pants. Fusing traditional workwear codes with contemporary tailoring, the release enlists New York-based photographer Tim Barber for both the official campaign visuals and the garment artwork.
The standout piece of the collection is the modernized Eisenhower Jacket. Retaining its tough, military-inspired origins, semoh elevates the silhouette with a color-blocked collar to create a refined visual contrast. The back panel of the outerwear serves as a canvas, bearing a silkscreened photograph selected directly from Barber’s Blues publication. Rounding out the jacket’s design are semoh’s original horn buttons and premium zipper hardware.
Accompanying the jacket are the DS Five Pocket Pants, constructed from Dickies’ signature cotton and polyester twill blend. The trousers are defined by a unique, precisely engineered slight flare pattern courtesy of semoh. Additional premium touches include original horn buttons and a dedicated collaboration logo stamped on the interior lining. Both garments will be available in versatile black and gray colorways.
The Dickies x semoh for Urban Research capsule is available now at Urban Research Kyoto, followed by a wider launch on April 21 via the Urban Research official online store and physical locations.
