DESCENTE Brings Together Six Voices to Redefine “The Peak” in Snow Culture
The brand’s “Peak House” brought together Chinese Olympian skiers Kong Fanying and Guo Xinxin with snow culture creators.
What does “the peak” really mean on the slopes? DESCENTE — the premium performance sports brand known for its deep skiing heritage and continued support of China’s snow culture — explores the idea through the perspectives of six voices shaping the community today.
The journey moves from the streets of Milan with Chinese Olympic skiers Fanying Kong and xinxin Guo, where the energy of the winter games fills the air. CASA DESCENTE, alongside snow culture creators Billy Blanc and Yaning Zhang, became the main hub for the ambitious project. In the alpine town of Cortina, professional coaches Yi Hu and Yuanliang Li, both longtime leaders in youth ski training, reflect on their experiences developing the next generation.
Through their perspectives, “the peak” in snow sports is no longer defined by a single altitude or a brief moment on the podium. Instead, it represents a forward-looking mindset shaped by dedication, shared experiences and the continued growth of China’s evolving snow culture.
