For ALD’s latest foray into the music space, Santis is taking his affinity for sound to the next level, stamping the ALD logo on one of Technics’ most sought-after, signature products. The duo got in the studio to cook up its first-ever collaborative Aimé Leon Dore x Technics turntable, dubbed the SL-1200M7ALD.
A natural materialization of Santis’s connection to music – and, more specifically, analog sound in general – the SL-1200M7ALD just makes sense. The turntable comes dipped in ALD’s infamous Mulberry Green colorway, subtly elevated with gold-branded hits throughout the silhouette. All of Technics top-tier performance features are still in place, spanning its coreless direct-drive motor, S-shaped aluminum tone arm, and vibration-dampening platter, making the turntable perfectly suitable for both casual vinyl listening and on-stage spinning.
