On the one‑year anniversary of the 005 trail racing shoe’s debut, norda expands the silhouette’s roster with two new high‑adrenaline colorways: “Laser” and “Comet.” Completing the brand’s SS26 KALEDISCOPIC collection, these two variants draw direct inspiration from the adrenaline-fueled speed and danger of 1980s Group B rally racing.
Both models maintain the silhouette’s signature ultralight, plateless architecture and “close-to-the-earth” feel. The “Laser” iteration personifies off-road swiftness with a crisp white base accented by sharp hits of hot red, black piping, and subtle dashes of gold. In contrast, the “Comet” offers a more conceptual aesthetic, reviving the light grey “Neve” shade from the model’s debut as a foundation, which is then disrupted by a dark midfoot lace loop and a striking flash of bright pink cutting through the middle of the shoe.
The upper is crafted from bio-circular Dyneema®, a featherlight fiber up to 15 times stronger than steel that provides maximum breathability. For the first time, norda has introduced livery-inspired branding on the upper that explicitly calls out proprietary technologies like the Arnitel® TPEE midsole foam and the Dyneema® composition. Precision is ensured by the norda® Fit Lock System, which works in tandem with a perforated micro-suede tongue and bio-circular Dyneema® laces — offering four times the strength of standard laces. Underfoot, the 005 is anchored by a Vibram Megagrip Elite and Litebase soleplate, featuring varying lug heights for seamless transitions across technical terrain while reducing overall sole weight by 30%.
