Everything Coming to HBO Max in March 2026

Summary

• HBO is kicking off March with the premiere of DTF St. Louis (March 1), a dark comedy limited series starring Jason Bateman, David Harbour, and Linda Cardellini. The plot follows a middle-age love triangle that turns deadly after the trio begins using a niche dating app
• Steve Carell returns to his sitcom roots in Rooster (March 8), a new comedy from Ted Lasso creator Bill Lawrence. Carell stars as a famous novelist of “smutty” stories who takes a job at his daughter’s college after her public breakup, causing equal parts embarrassment and chaos
• Other major highlights include the third and final season of The Comeback with Lisa Kudrow (March 22), the high-stakes documentary Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare (March 10), and the Lionsgate streaming debut of From the World of John Wick: Ballerina (March 27) starring Ana de Armas

With February coming to an end, HBO Max has unveiled its slate of new programming for March 2026.

Next month’s list is led by the premiere of the HBO Original series DTF St. Louis, starring David Harbour, Jason Bateman, Linda Cardellini, Joy Sunday, Richard Jenkins, and Peter Sarsgaard. Also joining the streamer is fellow original series Rooster starring Steve Carrell, a new season of The Comeback, the documentary Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare and From the World of John Wick: Ballerina.
