ERL has officially unveiled the “Bubblegum Vamp,” a tactile new edition of its signature Vamp sneaker designed by founder Eli Russell Linnetz in Venice Beach. This latest drop reimagines the chunky skate silhouette with a playful, high-impact material choice, wrapping the shoe in a dense synthetic felt that mimics the hand feel and texture of a tennis ball.
The “Bubblegum Vamp” is defined by its material construction. The upper is crafted from a high-quality synthetic wool felt (100% polyester) bonded with a fine linen backing for stabilization, resulting in a structure that is described as “at once soft and deliberate.” The colorway is equally bold, rendered in a “neon highlighter bubblegum pink” that demands attention, while the interior lining offers a subtle contrast in a softer pastel pink felt.
Grounding the design is a semi-translucent bubblegum pink sole, finished with an opaque pink heel logo. Additional branding includes a semi-translucent ERL TPU logo positioned at the center of the tongue. Each pair comes equipped with both pink and off-white laces, allowing for customizable styling. The release is available in men’s sizes 6-13.
The “Bubblegum Vamp” is available now exclusively at ERL.STORE.
