Bremont is back with a new Terra Nova Jumping Hour timepiece, following the success of earlier bronze and steel editions. This release introduces a full black DLC finish across the 904L stainless steel case and bracelet, giving the watch a stealthy yet bold transformation. Aptly named “Stealth Black,” its aesthetic brings a sharp, unexpected attitude to the popular Jumping Hour line, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to creating capable equipment for exploration.
The watch draws inspiration from early 20th-century Montres à Guichet designs, featuring a unique vertical display where hours and minutes are revealed through dedicated apertures for exceptional clarity. At its heart is the BC634 movement, developed exclusively with Sellita, which delivers a technically impressive and instantaneous hour jump in under one-tenth of a second. Adding to its utilitarian charm, the central sweeping seconds hand orbits over a Super-LumiNova “Wayfinder” logo, evoking a traditional compass point — a nod to Bremont’s enduring legacy of adventure.
Two strap variants accompany the contemporary cushion-shaped case: a black DLC-finished 904L steel bracelet and a black leather bund strap. The bund strap, which can be removed to reveal a classic calf leather band, serves as a historical reference to pilots and alpinists who sought protection from extreme temperatures.
The Terra Nova 38 Jumping Hour in “Stealth Black” is now available to shop through Bremont’s official webstore. The steel bracelet option is priced at $5,650 USD, while the version on the black leather bund strap retails at at $5,200 USD.
