  • The exclusive capsule highlights popular characters Kuromi and Hello Kitty across a range of apparel and accessories
  • The collection features original camouflage patterns and signature BAPE branding intertwined with the iconic mascots

A BATHING APE and Sanrio are officially joining forces once again to release the BAPE x Sanrio Characters Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Tapping into the vibrant energy of two of pop culture’s most recognizable icons, the Japanese streetwear label has crafted a localized capsule centered around Kuromi and Hello Kitty. The collaboration bridges traditional Ura-Hara streetwear codes with playful character designs, delivering a comprehensive lineup of apparel and accessories designed for both longtime brand enthusiasts and character fans.

Constructed around an original “hide-and-seek” camouflage pattern specifically designed for this project, the collection leans heavily into bold graphic applications. The apparel range is highlighted by the Kuromi and Hello Kitty Camo Full Zip Hoodies, which allow wearers to transform into the characters through meticulously crafted hood ears and felt patch details. Kuromi’s signature skull and crossbones and Hello Kitty’s iconic bow are seamlessly integrated into the custom all-over prints, with the latter featuring a detachable ribbon clip for versatile styling.

Beyond the statement outerwear, the capsule offers a variety of everyday graphic staples. The standard tees blend the classic Ape Head and MAD FACE motifs with the Sanrio characters, accented by playful details like character tails printed on the back. A trend-focused College Mini Tee silhouette also makes an appearance, featuring a classic collegiate layout coupled with a “GO APE!” speech bubble. The accessory lineup rounds out the offering with character-inspired ABC Camo Mesh Caps, specialized plush dolls featuring detachable hoods, and plush doll keychains.

The BAPE x Sanrio Characters SS26 collection drops February 28, 2026 via BAPE store locations and online. bape-sanrio-kuromi-hello-kitty-ss26-collection-release-info
