Summary

fragment reworks the BRABUS URBAN E in a stark black-and-white finish.

The electric motorcycle retains 37 hp, 475 Nm of torque and up to 93 miles of urban range.

Production is limited to 10 units worldwide.

Fragment, DAB Motors and BRABUS have joined forces on the BRABUS URBAN E FRAGMENT EDITION, transforming the German tuner’s first electric motorcycle through Hiroshi Fujiwara’s distinctly restrained visual language.

Based on the BRABUS URBAN E unveiled earlier this year, the new edition leaves its underlying mechanical package intact and instead treats the motorcycle as a study in contrast. The original’s more overt BRABUS treatment gives way to a stark black-and-white palette: black bodywork is offset by white-painted carbon-fiber wheel covers, white Brembo brake calipers, white BRABUS lettering and a white BRABUS Masterpiece leather seat. fragment branding appears selectively across the side panels and front fender, while a bespoke crystal-clear rear light incorporates the label’s logo directly into its lens.

The URBAN E retains the sculptural mix of carbon fiber and precision-machined hardware that distinguished the earlier BRABUS iteration. Carbon components extend across the front fender, side ducts, engine covers, belly pan, wheel arches, rear winglets and brake-cooling ducts, contrasted with glossy and matte black aero elements.

Up front, an illuminated BRABUS badge sits alongside a bespoke headlight unit with vertical daytime-running lights, while the supermotard-style handlebar incorporates CNC-machined controls, bar-end mirrors and brake levers. Mechanically, the FRAGMENT EDITION remains unchanged from the BRABUS URBAN E, producing 27.6 kW (37 hp) and 475 Nm of torque at the wheel, with a top speed of 120 km/h (75 mph) and up to 150 km (93 miles) of urban range from its 7.1-kWh battery. Five selectable riding modes – Eco, Street, Sport, Nitrous and Reverse – further preserve the performance-focused character beneath its more understated exterior.

Each BRABUS URBAN E FRAGMENT EDITION is hand-built by DAB Motors in France, with production restricted to just 10 individually numbered units worldwide. The collaboration reflects DAB’s broader philosophy of approaching the motorcycle as a designed object as much as a mode of transport, while fragment’s intervention demonstrates how a largely color-driven redesign can significantly alter the personality of an existing machine without changing its engineering. Priced at $50,000 USD, the motorcycle is being offered by allocation, with reservations available through DAB Motors. A US-specification version is also planned with adaptations for local regulations.
