Intuit TurboTax gears up for an exciting entry in 2026 following the tax filing service’s state-of-the-art flagship store’s grand opening in the heart of NYC. TurboTax SoHo joins a nationwide expansion of 20 new TurboTax stores and nearly 600 expert offices, all designed to provide filers with year-round confidence and maximized money outcomes. TurboTax has revolutionized how you handle your taxes, offering a seamless “done-for-you” filing experience with local experts in your community, who are available both online and in-person, and equipped to handle all situations for both personal and business taxes.

As TurboTax plants roots in SoHo, a new collaboration with Kody Phillips and Who Decides War celebrates the intersection of NYC’s fashion scene and the entrepreneurial grit required to build a brand — empowering the next generation of local creators to turn their craftsmanship into a lasting business. TurboTax will release a multi-part editorial series spotlighting how NYC-based designer labels Kody Phillips and Who Decides War have balanced the “art of business” with pure creativity. The series kicks off with “Behind the Design,” an intimate look at Kody Phillip‘s and Who Decides War’s design processes in the studio.

The “Behind the Design” series provides an in-depth breakdown of their artistic footprint – from fabric sourcing to product scaling – and how financial literacy empowers these independent business owners to turn their creative visions into tangible assets. This fashion collection celebrates their entrepreneurial spirit, and the meticulous craftsmanship that they put into running their businesses. This exclusive streetwear capsule will be unveiled at TurboTax SoHo during New York Fashion Week.

Kody Phillip’s eponymous label was founded in Brooklyn, New York, in 2016, quickly solidifying itself as a luxury deconstruction of streetwear archetypes. New York-based label Who Decides War, founded by designers Everard Best (Ev Bravado) and Téla D’Amore in 2018, is known for intricate, hand-distressed garments propelled by narratives exploring identity and Americana through a contemporary lens. From developing a declarative brand identity to creating one-of-a-kind garments that mirror today’s cultural pulse, Kody Phillips and Who Decides War embody the professional skill sets that bring ideas to fruition.

Stay tuned for upcoming programming from Hypebeast and TurboTax, featuring exclusive opportunities to engage with these talented designers at TurboTax SoHo.
