For Pre-Fall 2026, Isabel Marant is stripping back the noise to undertake a study in simplicity. Speaking at a preview in the brand’s Paris showroom, Creative Director Kim Bekker revealed that the collection is driven by instinct and a global perspective on the brand’s diverse male images.
Moving away from singular muses, the design team focused on straightforward archetypes, landing on a rugged, effortlessly cool energy. This shift yields a collection that prioritizes the foundations of a wardrobe: the perfect white t-shirt, precise denim and silhouette-defining chore jackets that capture a distinct ’90s spirit.
The apparel lineup serves as a textural masterclass in desert tones, effectively anchoring the season’s major trends while maintaining Marant’s timeless appeal. Key pieces include a patched jacket and a robust selection of plaids, ranging from mahogany-hued hoodies to Japanese check jean jackets. Trousers have been reworked with a smart cut- available in cream or hickory stripe – that blurs the line between formal tailoring and casual ease. While the label is known for embroidery, the application here is restrained. Marigold stitching traces the seams of jeans, while a midnight blue souvenir jacket emblazoned with “On the Road” offers the season’s standout graphic moment.
Rounding out the lineup is the introduction of new footwear silhouettes: an ankle boot-loafer crafted in stitched suede, alongside the Senny sneaker—a fresh iteration of the brand’s iconic Bekett sneaker. The Fall collection is expected to hit Isabel Marant boutiques later this year.
