Tokyo-based streetwear label BlackEyePatch celebrates the 30th anniversary of Initial D, Shuichi Shigeno’s legendary street racing manga, with a dedicated capsule collection. The range merges contemporary streetwear staples with striking visuals and iconic panels pulled directly from the original manga.
The collection is anchored by heavyweight hoodies and graphic tees featuring protagonist Takumi Fujiwara alongside his famed AE86 Trueno. A definitive standout is the denim jacket, which features a bold, all-over graphic collage print composed of various legendary manga panels.
The Initial D x BlackEyePatch capsule will debut with an advanced release at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2026, held at Makuhari Messe from January 9 – 11. Details regarding a wider general release are expected to follow the event.
