Its construction features a 40mm MDF plinth finished in sleek matte black and a 20mm anti-resonance acrylic platter, working in tandem to minimize mechanical noise and deliver stable record playback.
A highlight of the AT-LP7X is its J-shaped aluminum tonearm, a nod to Audio-Technica’s classic designs from the 1960s and ’70s. The tonearm employs a dual-axis gimbal with precision ball bearings for enhanced tracking accuracy and stability. Pre-mounted to the lightweight AT-LT10 headshell is the AT-VM95E BK cartridge with a 0.3 x 0.7 mil elliptical stylus, offering excellent channel separation and tonal clarity.
