  • UFC President Dana White has released renderings for a mixed martial arts arena on the White House’s South Lawn for America 250 celebrations in 2026
  • The arena would host 5,000 spectators and feature a lit arch framing the Washington Monument
  • The White House seemed to confirm the “one-of-one” event on social media

UFC president Dana White is assuring fans that all is moving smoothly for the upcoming White House fight. Taking to social media to reveal the official renderings of the mixed martial arts arena, which is set to be build on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington DC, the event is expected to bring a high-profile UFC fight to the most symbolic location in the United States, blurring the lines between politics, sports and spectacle.

White presented the renderings of the set up on Fox News last week, revealing that the arena will be set to accommodate approximately 5,000 fans. Expected to be a part of the nation’s America 250 celebrations in 2026, the renderings showcase an ambitious design featuring a massive arch covered in lights sitting above the spectators. This structure would not only serve as a stage but would also frame the White House and the Washington Memorial obelisk. At the center of the installation would be an octagonal arena, the signature home of UFC fights. White, in a segment on Fox News, compared the event to a production at the Sphere, calling it a “one-of-one type event” that is unlike anything seen before.

This event is the latest in a series of large-scale spectacles organized by the administration. The White House seemed to confirm the potential for the arena in a post on X, stating, “See you on the South Lawn,” a line that has since fueled immense speculation and public debate. The plan also includes a separate installation outside of the grounds for a remote watch party, allowing a wider audience to participate in the historic event.
