Several new models have brought fresh energy to New Balance this year, with the ABZORB 2010 as one that was quick to make a splash thanks to a collaboration with Ronnie Fieg and a wide variety of in-line looks. Plenty additional pairs are en route to shelves, including a project with Comme des Garçons HOMME that was revealed during the most recent edition of Paris Fashion Week.
Up next is a set of two colorways, a “Black” pair that we previewed previously and a new “Brighton Grey” iteration. The mixed material build of the latter begins with an off-white base before introducing various shades of grey at the overlays, including its signature “Brighton Grey” in suede. Meanwhile, the midsole adopts the same off-white while a gum brown hits the heel and black completes the color composition at the rubber outsole.
At the time of writing, New Balance has not officially announced any launch details regarding this “Brighton Grey” version of the ABZORB 2010. Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect it to drop alongside its “Black” counterpart on August 20 at a starting price of $160 USD each via New Balance and select retailers.
