  • The show premieres on September 30, 2025, with new episodes dropping weekly on Hulu

Glen Powell, fresh off his recent string of box office hits, is taking his talents to the small screen in the new Hulu comedy series, Chad Powers. The show’s plot is as wild as its premise: Powell plays Russ Holliday, a once-promising college quarterback whose career is shattered by an unforgivable mistake. Years later, desperate for a second chance, Russ takes a page out of Mrs. Doubtfire’s playbook, adopting a full disguise to reinvent himself as “Chad Powers.”

The newly released trailer showcases a hilarious blend of slapstick and sports comedy. Russ, as the eccentric Chad, walks onto the field of a struggling Southern football team, the South Georgia Catfish. With his impressive, albeit goofy, talent, he manages to capture the attention of the skeptical coach, played by Steve Zahn. The trailer hints at the challenges of Russ’s double life, as he navigates a new team and tries to keep his true identity a secret. Co-created by Powell and Michael Waldron and executive produced by football legends Eli and Peyton Manning, the series promises a heartfelt underdog story about second chances.

The highly anticipated series will premiere on Hulu on September 30, 2025, with the first two episodes dropping on launch day. New episodes will follow weekly.
