In a landmark collaboration that celebrates decades of skate heritage, Vans Skateboarding and Montréal-based skate brand Dime have reimagined an icon. The new Vans Skate Era Stub is a brand-new silhouette that draws from the legacy of the original Era, which first launched in 1976 as the first-ever skate shoe designed by skaters, for skaters.

Nearly five decades later, the spirit of evolution continues. The Skate Era Stub is a fresh take on the classic design, built on modern proportions and equipped with Vans’ most advanced performance technologies. The shoe features SickStick™ rubber for superior grip, PopCush™ insoles for powerful impact protection, and Duracap™ reinforcements in high-wear areas for lasting durability.

This launch is anchored by a new campaign that brings together a cast of influential skaters, including Conor Neeson, Max Wasangu, and Una Farrar, who embody the collaborative spirit of the partnership. Designed in close collaboration with Dime, the debut colorways reflect the brand’s signature minimalist design language. The new shoe, arriving in white and tan, drops on August 30, exclusively at Dime, as well as on-site at the Dime Glory Challenge, which coincides with the event’s 10th anniversary.
