Following the finale of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, TOHO has confirmed that another season is in production.
Based on the My Hero Academia spinoff manga by Hideyuki Furuhashi, Betten Court and Kohei Horikoshi, the anime’s first season was helmed by director Kenichi Suzuki ( JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders) and scripted by Yosuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia). Animation production is handled by Bones with a creative team that includes character designer Takahiko Yoshida, art director Yukihiro Watanabe, and music composer Yuki Hayashi, who’s known for his work on My Hero Academia.
While specific plot details for Season 2 have yet to be revealed, the story is expected to continue from the events of the first season. Set for a 2026 release, the series will stream exclusively on Crunchyroll worldwide, with the exception of Asia.
