Kith Debuts the New Balance 204L This Week
Offering three summertime-inspired colorways of the anticipated model.

Update: At last, the New Balance 204L is arriving stateside. Before the American sportswear brand presents its in-line launch of the sneaker later this month, Kith is scheduled to drop its three-part collaboration. Summertime-inspired colorways of “Camellia” pink, “Sunburst” orange, and “Bluebell” blue all feature a construction that combines suede, nubuck, and mesh. Nods to Kith are visible at the right shoe’s lateral heel and tongue while the left shoe features Kith embroidery at the rear. Reflective “N” logos, special metallic packaging, and an extra pair of reflective laces complete the design. The Kith Women flagship in Manhattan will host a floral installation where customers who purchase a pair will be gifted a complimentary floral bouquet inspired by the colorway obtained. A general launch via all Kith storefronts is scheduled to take place on July 18 at a price of $130 USD.

Update: Kith’s take on the upcoming New Balance 204L sneaker leaked at the end of April. While we’ve waited for more info since, Ronnie Fieg has finally offered a better idea of what to expect, unveiling two additional colorways. Joining the mint green and grey iteration are orange and pink versions of the shoe. All three feature silver “N” logos outlined in white at each side of the midfoot and Kith branding at the right shoe’s tongue tag. No release details have been shared just yet so hang tight as we expect it to arrive soon via Kith.

Original Story: Kith is known for its special collaborations, especially within the sneaker space. One of its many partnerships that it has leaned on over the years is with New Balance. The two have already dropped a special “Osaka” pack for Kith’s new flagship there, as well as an “Easter” pack for the holiday. Now, in addition to two takes on the upcoming 2010 sneaker, a Kith-approved version of the new 204L model has leaked.

The indoor soccer-inspired sneaker first appeared last week and has now been spotted with co-branding from Kith. While limited to one image of the shoe, we can see that it dons a silver mesh base that combines with a set of mixed material overlays in gray, seafoam green, and teal. An off-white midsole and black outsole complete the structure while Kith nods arrive at the lateral heel and sockliner.
At the time of writing, neither Kith nor New Balance have indicated when their collaborative 204L campaign will be launching. Stay tuned for updates, including a complete look at this pair, as we currently expect it to arrive later this year via Kith, New Balance, and select retailers.
