TiaCorine and Kenny Beats are no strangers. The once-undeground rapper rolled up to the producer’s The Cave series in 2023 to drop some bars over a Beats-curated beat, making for one of the more memorable freestyles to come from the series. The duo got in the studio together for another hypnotic collaborative cut entitled “Ironic.”
“Ironic” arrives as the North Carolina rapper’s second studio release of 2025, following up “ATE” from the end of February. The just-over two-minute cut joins the rest of the duo’s joint discography as a a perfect display of the pair’s creative chemistry, carried by a syrupy, synth-soaked beat, the perfect canvas for Tia to flow with ease. Their past credits include “Chaka Khan” and “Luigi.”
When Tia took to Instagram to reveal the track was in the pipeline, users flooded the comments with fire emojis and requests for a full Tia x Kenny collab project.
“Let’s get fly and smoke some chronic / That shit be so ironic, everything I do iconic / I don’t need it, I just want it,” she delivers on the chorus.
