To rewind, on Wednesday, May 21, Ye took to Instagram to drop a new song, “ALIVE” featuring NBA Youngboy – which also samples Carti’s “CRANK.” Carti quickly followed up with his version of “ALIVE,” sharing the song on his @opium_00pium page, writing “DIS MY SONG LIL BRA @ye.”

About six hours later, Carti returned to Instagram to share “SOME MORE,” captioning the new cut “DIS SHIT EASY.”
