Sony Pictures Entertainment has shared the official trailer for Darren Aronofsky‘s Caught Stealing.
Set in the ’90s, the upcoming film stars Austin Butler as a former baseball player who unwillingly enters the seedy New York City underbelly after agreeing to catsit for his friend. Unfortunately for Butler, he’s forced to deal with more than just one gun-wielding group.
Also joining the cast are Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Regina King, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, Griffin Dunne, Bad Bunny and Carol Kane. Aronofsky directs and co-produces alongside Jeremy Dawson, Dylan Golden and Ari Handel.
The film is based on Charlie Huston’s book of the same name, with David Hayter previously attached to adapt the book. Patrick Wilson was set to take the lead role in 2013, however nothing came to the fruition.
