Nike is bringing back a classic for next year starting with Ken Griffey Jr.’s favorite Mariners shade with the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Varsity Royal.” The retro mid-top is slated to arrive next fall, featuring a varsity blue nubuck upper with. clean white leather accents throughout. The ’90s baseball silhouette also features an Air cushioning system and a waffle-traction outsole. The “24” hits the velcro ankle strap as a nod to Griffey Jr.’s number.
