DC Studios has dropped off the latest trailer for James Gunn‘s highly-anticipated Superman.
The three-minute visual begins with Lois Lane interviewing Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman about a recent incident. While the superhero remains adamant that his actions were fuelled by his need to save lives, Lane suggests that he didn’t think of the consequences. The trailer continues on to tease Lex Luthor’s involvement, Clark’s return to his family in Smallville and the villains he’ll face.
Playing the superhero for the first time is David Corenswet. He’s joined by Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern and Isabel Merced as Hawkgirl. Other members of the cast include Pruitt Taylor Vince, Neva Howell, Wendell Pierce, Skyler Gisondo, Beck Bennett, Mikaela Hoover and Christopher McDonald.
