Lady Gaga & Gesaffelstein Share the Stage at Coachella — Stream His "Abracadabra" Remix Now

Lady Gaga‘s return to Coachella came with all the bells and whistles missing in her 2017 performance, which she pulled together in a rush to replace the then-pregnant Beyonce. Not only did her fans get served high-fashion costumes and operatic stage design, but they also got a rare treat from the star, who seldom brings out guests at her shows.
However, instead of aiming for more obvious collaborators like Bruno Mars, Gaga brought out techno-house legend Gesaffelstein to join her for a live performance of their industrial funk tie-up titled “Killah,” and also debuted hus “Abracadabra (Gesaffelstein Remix).” The remix invites the pop anthem into more experimental territory, with club-ready bass and an addictive chop-up of Gaga’s vocals.
Gesaffelstein is perhaps best known by younger audiences for his collaborative EP with The Weeknd and production on Ye’s Yeezus songs “Send it Up” with Daft Punk and “Black Skinhead.” Outside the studio, his chrome and black masks have earned him a unique reputation, evoking a cyborg-like DJ on stage with his minimal setup. His collaboration with Gaga on several tracks in her latest EP MAYHEM marks one of his most high-profile collaborations since debuting in the early 2000s.
