It’s been one and a half years since Dr. Martens took a bold step forward with its new 14XX line, introducing revamped takes on three models: the 1460, 1461, and 2976. Now, for its latest project from the franchise, it has assembled the 14XX “VENT” Pack.
Starting with the VENT XX02 — a slim mule — it appears in a “Black Buttero” smooth leather and “Dark Grey” milled nubuck. Both feature perforations that allow for ample airflow alongside a silicone toe cap. A microfiber insole offers a comfortable fit as well. As for the VENT XX01, it takes the shape of a gladiator sandal and sports Dr. Martens’ polished smooth leather in black. It similarly carries a silicone toe cap and perforations at the midfoot, combining with a padded tongue and two adjustable ripstop straps that include quick-release functionality.
