Willy Chavarria's SS25 "América" Collection Is Here

“I got a lot of inspiration from the United Farm Workers Movement, the Civil Rights Movement, the women’s liberation movements of the past that have truly brought people together to create change,” the designer said of the line.

Willy Chavarria hive, rise. The Mexican-American designer has dropped off the first installment from his Spring/Summer 2025 collection, “América” — and it’s filled with the two-time CFDA trophy winner’s signature sporty tailoring.

The line, which first met the world during New York Fashion Week last September, is a tribute to the “resilience, dreams, and boundless possibilities” that define the American spirit, per the designer. “I got a lot of inspiration from the United Farm Workers Movement, the Civil Rights Movement, the women’s liberation movements of the past that have truly brought people together to create change,” Chavarria said at the September show. “But also the guy going to work at AT&T with his name on his shirt and his keyring hanging from his pocket because he’s about to open the store.”

Hence, keys dangle from the belt loops on most canvas trousers, which come in “Trigo,” “Pea Coat,” and “Pearl” colorways, and “Willy Chavarria Fashion Services” shirts, styled with tucked-in ties, pay homage to the working-class uniform, a version of which Chavarria’s Irish-American mother and Mexican-American father wore as immigrant farmers in California’s San Joaquin Valley. Elsewhere, washed T-shirts and caps boast “América” lettering, the ACLU logo, and produce-inspired illustrations.

The first drop from Willy Chavarria’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection is now available to shop on the designer’s webstore. Explore the full lineup in the gallery above.
