PinkPantheress is turning it up with an all-new single, “Stateside.”
Written and produced by the artist herself, alongside The Dare, askel arvid, and Count Baldor, the track sets PinkPantheress’ light vocals in contrast with a deep bassline. Notably, “Stateside” is the second single to arrive off of the artist’s forthcoming album, Fancy That, following the release of “Tonight.”
“So excited to share with you my favourite song off of the project, Stateside,” PinkPantheress said in a statement. “It explores my growth as an artist and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as me.”
Slated for release on May 9, Fancy That features production from aksel arvid, Count Baldor, phil, Oscar Scheller, The Dare, and more heavyweight musicmakers. The record is set to include nine tracks, featuring samples from the likes of Panic! at the Disco, Jessica Simpson, and Basement Jaxx.
“This tape marks a huge milestone for me as an artist,” PinkPantheress said. “This feels like the most tied-together project I’ve applied myself to as an artist, and for my fans who have been with me for years, I hope they can hear the signs of growth in me as an artist.”
