Paul Smith and Lee Team Up for An Exclusive New Capsule Collection
Filled with a classic Americana aesthetic and refreshing prints, the collaboration blends the best of both worlds.

Paul Smith knows Lee. What started out as an obsession over a pair of painter’s pants half a century ago has now led to a synergistic collaboration between both brands. The collection perfectly encapsulates the best of both styles, mixing Lee’s vintage Americana feel with Smith’s classic British twist. The capsule, which was initially teased at Pitti Uomo, is available now.
“I used to sell Lee in my Nottingham shop in the 1970s and they were important to me when I was first starting out. Getting clothes over to the UK from the USA was much more difficult to do back then and it was always so exciting to have it in the shop,” Sir Paul Smith said in a statement. “They’ve got real heritage and being able to partner on this collection has been great. Pairing their expertise in denim and our knowledge of print and design is a brilliant combination.”
The collection is filled with new-wave staple pieces. The Lee 101 jean, Stormrider Jacket, Chore Coat, and Carpenter Pants are reimagined in new prints, including the signature Paul Smith stripe. A co-ord tapered pant set is updated with an exclusive jacquard print, meanwhile hoodies and tees sport bright pops of color, perfect for a playful spring.
Pieces range from $90 – $450 USD. The Paul Smith and Lee Collaboration is now available online at Paul Smith as well as Lee, and in-store at select Paul Smith and Nordstrom retailers. In the meantime, check out the pieces in the gallery above.
