The Nike Air Max Plus Golf Masters Edition Is in Full Bloom
Showcasing an upper adorned with all-over azaleas.
Nike has provided a first look at its NRG colorway for the upcoming 89th playing of the Masters Tournament: the vivid azalea “Pink Bloom”. And while florals aren’t necessarily anything new for an early April drop, the execution alone is worthy of admiration.
This limited edition Air Max Plus G showcases an upper adorned with all-over azaleas, exhibiting a fabric texture reminiscent of vintage rugs or curtains. The black tongue, sockliners, and outsoles provide a striking contrast to the spring palette. This azalea theme is also present on the performance-oriented Victory Tour 4 and Zoom Infinity Next 2, albeit with more subtle applications. Nike athletes like Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, and defending champion Scottie Scheffler are expected to wear these latter two models at Augusta National.
Although official release details are still pending, these items are anticipated to launch soon, given that the Masters Tournament begins in less than two weeks.
