Kenzo FW25 Fell Down The Rabbit Hole
Creative director Nigo brought 80s pop-art back to the runway in a morning after meets Saville Row collection.

For its first womenswear dedicated show in over 8 years, Kenzo Fall/Winter 2025 brought the party back to the runway. Soundtracked by Blondie, Patti Smith, and the Sex Pistols, the runway, titled “Lucky Me? Lucky You,” was filled with eclectic 80s inspired silhouettes.
Inspired by stylizing your boyfriend’s Saville Row clothing, the collection blended oversized suiting and familiar streetwear aesthetics. Sheer harem pants were paired with tailored tuxedo jackets and snapback caps. Slip tops were peeled down over wide legged trousers paired with mesh tops and blazers for the morning-after walk.
For accessories, crystal pavé belts sported both the house’s and the art director’s name in katana script. Sain bags were accented with feather trims, another nod to the overwhelming textured trend this season. The fuzz didn’t stop there, beanie baby-esque toy rabbits were stitched together to form a haphazard sleeveless top. Following looks leaned farther into the Peep colored stuffed animal aesthetic. Hoodies in pink and baby blue bunny eared hoodies flopped down the stairs before entering the runway.
Overall, the collection honored the house’s pop-art ingenuity. However, at the end, creative director Nigo wasn’t in Paris due to a commercial obligation, and design director Joshua A. Bullen passed on the traditional finale bow.
