JENNIE Makes Her Longform Debut With 'Ruby'
The BLACKPINK songstress exudes star power on her first-ever studio album.

JENNIE has been gearing up for her long-awaited first solo project for a minute now. After signing her solo record deal with Columbia Records back in September, the BLACKPINK talent was quick to announce her debut album Ruby, which, since being preceeded by a stellar lineup of singles, is here at last, and sees the K-pop icon properly step into her star power.
Following up on the album announcement at the top of 2025, the songstress kicked off the rollout with “ZEN,” “Love Hangover” with Dominic Fike and “ExtraL” with Doechii. Other features come from FKJ on “Intro:JANE,” Dua Lipa on “Handlebars” and Childish Gambino and Kali Uchis on “Damn Right.”
“Ruby is out now all around the world. just finished my first ever solo show and too overwhelmed. will come back with more to share soon. thank you to everyone who made this album possible and to my fans out there. you are my world. thank you for listening to my baby. Love you all,” JENNIE wrote in an Instagram caption.
