Division Street — the University of Oregon’s marketing program in support of its student-athletes — is responsible for producing many of the school’s special Nike collaborations. It most recently assembled the “What The Duck” Dunks late last year via its Ducks of a Feather brand and is now back with three Air Max 95/97 hybrid colorways.
The three Duck-themed takes pair the tooling of the Air Max 95 with the upper of the Air Max 97, adding to the list of mash-up takes found within the Air Max line. Presented in colorways of “Lightning,” “Thunder” and “Storm,” the first look features a reflective silver and rainbow upper with green glow-in-the-dark airbags. As for its “Thunder” counterpart, a green and gold color shift is accompanied by yellow glow-in-the-dark airbags. Lastly, the “Storm” take on the sneaker pairs gold and green/gold together for its color shifts. Each sneaker carries Ducks of a Feather branding at the heel and tongue, the University of Oregon’s “O” logo at the outsole and a hangtag featuring The Oregon Duck.
As with all of Division Street’s Ducks of a Feather campaigns, proceeds generated from the project will support University of Oregon student-athletes. Release begins with the “Lightning” pair dropping via an in-store raffle at Flight Club Tokyo that ends on March 21. It will later launch via GOAT on March 24 in the Asia-Pacific region. As for the “Thunder” look, it will hit the GOAT app on March 21 in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Lastly, the “Storm” take will hit Flight Club’s Los Angeles, New York and Miami locations on March 22 before dropping globally via GOAT on March 26 for Air Max Day.
