“The Battle Begins.”
A release date for the first anime film of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle has finally been announced.
In the original manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, “Infinity Castle” marks the first half of the series’ overarching “Final Battle Arc.” While no hints have been dropped regarding how much the first film will adapt from the arc, producers have revealed that Infinity Castle will be released as a film trilogy.
Confirmed by the anime’s official outlets, the film is set for a theatrical release in Japan on July 18, where it will be screened across 423 theaters (including IMAX) around the nation. Crunchyroll has also acquired the North American distribution rights for the films, but no actual dates have been announced at the time of writing.
