Jordan Brand Releases Air Jordan Skyline GORE-TEX Jacket
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1.
Jordan Brand has been slowly releasing a selection of products for its 40th anniversary celebrations of the Air Jordan 1. Adding to its offerings is the Air Jordan Skyline GORE-TEX jacket.
The jacket pays homage to the iconic 1985 “Skyline” photo that inspired the globally recognized Jumpman logo today. The design of the jacket takes on the image that captured Michael Jordan‘s legendary leap and dunk against the Chicago skyline as the backdrop. He is seen wearing a red and black jumpsuit, matching the original Air Jordan 1 High in the “Chicago” red and black colorway. The picturesque sky boasted a red and orange gradient tone to darker hues, becoming an iconic feature in the image. Plastered on the back of the jacket, the gradient tones are and Chicago skyline wrap around the whole jacket from front to back. With GORE-TEX technology, the jacket is weather resistant.
