Jordan Brand’s celebration of 40 years of the Air Jordan 1 is one of the year’s biggest sneaker storylines. However, the Air Jordan 5 is continuing to prove that its 35th anniversary is worth of attention as well, with a mix of returning looks such as the “Fire Red” colorway and collaborations with the likes of Awake NY and Paris Saint-Germain on the way.
Adding to the list of looks to anticipate, zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files have shared an updated report that states that a new “35th Anniversary” colorway of the Air Jordan 5 is en route this year. While we remain without an initial look at the pair, it is expected to sport a white leather upper that is joined by “Medium Soft Pink” detailing at the heel’s Nike Air branding and “23” callout.
At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not yet confirmed that this “35th Anniversary” colorway of the Air Jordan 5 will be releasing this year.
