Name: Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Obsidian”
Colorway: Obsidian/University Blue/Sail
SKU: CZ0790-400
MSRP: $140 USD
Release Date: March 22
Where to Buy: Nike

Update: It’s been a few months since we initially previewed the new Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Obsidian” and it’s finally landing on shelves this month. As discussed in the initial breakdown below, it draws inspiration from 2019’s “Obsidian” take on the Air Jordan 1 High with its blue and off-white composition. Release remains set to take place on March 22 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $140 USD.

Original Story: 2025 looms and so does the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1. To say that it will be a big year for the sneaker would be an understatement as everything from classic looks like ‘85 “Bred” to a new Off-White™-designed pair are expected to drop. Adding to the excitement, a new “Obsidian” take on the Air Jordan 1 Low OG is now on the 2025 release roster.

The familiar look replicates the color blocking of 2019’s Air Jordan 1 High “Obsidian” — pairing the dark blue with a “University Blue” hue. It also operates with the same off-white leather base as “Obsidian” runs across the overlays and Swooshes while its lighter counterpart covers the heel. An off-white stitched midsole and dark blue outsole complete the new pair.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not discussed its release plan for this upcoming “Obsidian” colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Stay tuned for an official look as we currently expect the sneaker to drop on March 22 of next year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $140 USD.
