'Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith' Returns to Theaters for 20th Anniversary
Kicking off on April 25 with a limited run.

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith is returning to theaters for a limited time, giving fans the chance to experience the epic conclusion of the prequel trilogy on the big screen once again.
Originally released in 2005, Revenge of the Sith remains one of the most pivotal chapters in the Star Wars saga. The film follows Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker’s tragic descent into the dark side, leading to the fall of the Jedi Order, the rise of the Galactic Empire, and the birth of Darth Vader. With breathtaking lightsaber duels, high-stakes battles and heart-wrenching betrayals, the movie delivers some of the franchise’s most unforgettable moments.
The re-release also features newly commissioned poster artwork by acclaimed graphic artist Matt Ferguson. His latest design, one of his most intricate yet, depicts Darth Vader’s looming mask overshadowing Anakin Skywalker as he marches toward his destiny. The illustration also highlights the climactic duel between Anakin and Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar, set against the burning skyline of Coruscant, capturing the film’s emotional weight and visual spectacle.
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith returns to theaters on April 25 for a one-week limited run in select U.S. theaters and international territories.
