Ja Morant Teases New Nike Ja 2 Colorways
Including one that is inspired by ‘Rush Hour 3,’ another in a multi-color iteration and one in sleek black.
Ja Morant is taking control over his own leaks. The Memphis Grizzlies star took to his Instagram Story to reveal three new colorways for his Nike Ja 2 silhouette.
In the now-deleted Instagram Story, Morant gave fans who caught a glimpse an exclusive first look at the upcoming releases. One of the stand out pairs seems to be inspired by Rush Hour 3. The brown pair features taglines like “Whoa!” and “Damn” stitched on the back, as a nod to one of the iconic films feature Chris Tucker and a giant. The sleek tan and brown tones hit the mixed material upper while the mismatched Swoosh in pink and white Swooshes. Another pair takes on a sleek black make but the mismatched volt green and bright pink Swooshes catch the eye as Morant quickly reveals the shoe.
The third iteration sees Morant’s chaotic energy come to life in a multi-colored vibrant hued pair that combined shades of purple, green, blue and yellow in an unforgettable color blocking design. The shoe’s red and orange colorway are paired with aqua blue accents, that pair with the shoe’s mismatched blue and neon green make. The sneakers feature a graffiti-style graphic that reads “MY LIFE” on the heel tab.
Moran nor Nike has confirmed the release date for these pairs just yet.
