Ferrari Unveils the SF-25: Its Challenger for the 2025 F1 Season
Soon to face its first competitive test in Bahrain before the season opener in Australia on March 16.

Scuderia Ferrari has officially unveiled the SF-25, its challenger for the 2025 Formula 1 season, at an event in London’s O2 Arena. With Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna, Team Principal Fred Vasseur and drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton in attendance. The SF-25 is set to make its track debut behind closed doors at Fiorano before heading to Bahrain for pre-season testing from February 26 to 28.
The SF-25, Ferrari’s 71st F1 car, embraces continuity in name but innovation in design. Under the leadership of Loic Serra, the team has introduced a notable change to the front suspension, switching from a pushrod to a pull-rod system. This modification enhances airflow management and expands aerodynamic development potential. While the power unit remains unchanged due to regulatory stability, Ferrari has optimized its performance strategy to maximize efficiency across race weekends.
Ferrari has also revamped its livery, presenting a deeper shade of Racing Red with a matte finish. A bold white stripe adds a modern dynamic, while thin glossy red and white details pay homage to the marque’s timeless style. Inspired by the 499 Hypercar competing in the WEC, the SF-25’s aesthetic reinforces Ferrari’s racing DNA. Notably, the wheel rims match the car’s red livery, with Leclerc’s and Hamilton’s race numbers displayed in Ferrari’s official font, Ferrari Sans.
