Moncler‘s FW25 Grenoble collection, originally shown in March at the famous altiport of Courchevel, equips urban fabrics with premium Alpine abilities.
Reflecting the French-born brand’s cross-cultural presence, the campaign is fronted by a diverse cast including Brazilian World Cup champion Lucas Pinheiro Braathen, two-time Olympic gold medallist and record-breaking snowboarder Chloe Kim, French actor Vincent Cassel, and supermodel Amber Valletta.
Pictured in the Alps by Mario Sorrenti, the textured looks show just what Moncler means when it highlights innovation. Suede, denim, and flannel aren’t your typical skiwear materials, but Moncler Grenoble’s in-depth research initiatives have completely winterised these fabrics for Alpine activities.
A head-to-toe denim ski suit might sound unconventional, and that’s because it is. Sourced from Kojima, the heartland of Japanese denim, Moncler Grenoble’s FW25 denim pieces were carefully engineered for snowy conditions, offering a windproof and waterproof yet breathable wear. Technical features include fully taped seams, stretch jersey thumbhole cuffs, and RECCO® reflectors. Inside, PrimaLoft® Gold Active provides warm insulation, while ULTRASUEDE® trims, leather belts, and corduroy collars provide a luxurious touch.
Moncler’s signature winter puffers are accented with cozy cord, wool, and velvets and finished with metal hardware and leather trims. Elsewhere, graphic outerwear styles boast a quilted technical patchwork comprising a GORE-TEX canvas, a 4-way stretch nylon, and a mechanical stretch DERMIZAX DX, enabling waterproof and windproof protection.
The après-ski (after skiing) range gets cozier with tonal suede applications, long-haired dyed shearling details, and of course, tech nylon. Woolen knits, including Irish Aran, are rendered in Fair Isle intarsia – grounding the collection in traditional cold-weather staples.
