Brain Dead and the brand with the Three Stripes are once again joining forces, building on their history of collaborative collections that have previously touched upon tennis culture and Japanese wrestling style. Their latest offering, the adidas Originals x Brain Dead collection, delivers a full head-to-toe nostalgic capsule that channels the bold energy of 2000s sports and video games.
The collection’s apparel incorporates reflective silver elements and shaped panels inspired by the adidas archives. Key pieces include a Japanese Noragi inspired Climacool track top, a metallic football-esque jersey, and an all over print goalkeeper jersey. Each garment is detailed with Brain Dead graphics and custom crests. Accessories like a sling bag and a beanie round out the offering.
For footwear, the collaboration highlights two retro-futuristic silhouettes from the archive: the Climacool 2 and the Taekwondo Mei. Originally released in 2003, the Climacool 2, now reimagined by Brain Dead, features metallic vents, reflective green mesh, and yellow accents. The Taekwondo Mei Brain Dead silhouette, on the other hand, presents a black upper with white stripes and an off-white outsole.
Adding a unique layer to the release, the partners have created two limited-edition collectibles
inspired by classic video game culture, which will be raffled exclusively on CONFIRMED during the collection’s availability.
Check out the collab above. The full adidas Originals x Brain Dead collection is set to arrive in limited quantities on December 18.
